'The Princess and the Pea' Walnut Shell

Hand made by Lizzi Freeman-Bradley, 'The Princess and the Pea' is a hand made tiny scene inside a hinged walnut shell. The bed is made of wood with lots of tiny mattresses in various patterns and a pea underneath. There is a pillow and duvet made of silk. In the other half of the shell, the princess has a dressing table with mirror, perfume bottles and a bowl of red apples. Her room is beautifully decorated in green and gold, and she has a little rug by the dressing table. The tiny princess has a white silk nightie on , white slippers and russet red hair tied up in buns with gold thread. There is even a ladder for her to reach the top!
