The characters are an equal mix of genders; four male, four female and four which can be either gender.
There is a specific character for the host to play; Sammy C Quinn (the host is not a suspect but still a participant!) and the victim is not one of your guests - the instruction booklet provides more detail on this.

With 3 alternative endings you can reuse this kit for multiple nights of murder mystery fun. A great excuse to get your friends and family together and have some dress up fun!
